Typologies of Sitting in a Plaza, Lonely

There were many typologies of loneliness in the plaza, amongst the various compositions of friends, coworkers, and lovers. The worst variation was the man whose friends had flown away in the middle of his joke taking their chairs and all and never to be seen again. His jokes weren’t that bad, he thought, so it must have been his breath or his stance on the earned income tax credit or the way he didn’t have any original dance moves and stole all of the moves he did know.
